We’re currently looking for Female Care Workers to work in the Bridgend area.
Job Overview:
In this rewarding role, you’ll be caring for clients within their own homes, providing support with:
Personal Care: Assisting with everyday tasks like bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Medication Assistance: Helping with medication as needed.
Food Preparation: Preparing meals and snacks to ensure a healthy diet.
Light Domestic Tasks: Helping with laundry, cleaning, and other household chores to keep their home comfortable.
Companionship & Emotional Support: Offering a listening ear, providing comfort, and sharing moments of joy throughout your visits.
Some duties may involve manual handling, so a calm and patient approach is key.
You’ll be traveling to different clients in your own car, and you may also accompany some of them on outings for social or wellbeing activities. A Full UK/International Driving License, your own car, and business car insurance are required.
Training and Support:
Whether you’re already an experienced carer or new to the field, we’ve got you covered! We offer:
Full Training & Ongoing Support: A 5-day induction programme (paid at national minimum wage once you’ve worked 50 hours).
Buddying Up: When you first start, you'll be paired with an experienced team member to help you get comfortable with your new role.
Social Care Wales Registration: We’ll support you in gaining your registration within 6 months to ensure full compliance.

Mileage and Travel Pay: We pay for your travel, waiting time, and mileage (25p per mile).
Paid Full Visits: You’re paid for the full duration of each visit, not by the minute.
