ND Care & Support unveiled as finalists for South Wales Argus Health & Care Award
We’re proud to announce two ND Care & Support staff have been shortlisted in the South Wales Argus Health & Care Awards 2021.
Care Workers Trina Goulding and Sherrie Jones, who both live and work in Torfaen, have been named as finalists for the Palliative/End of Life Award.
The award recognises how Care Workers deliver the wishes of Service Users and their families, reflecting fully on what’s important to a person at the end of their life.
Zenzy Flower, Registered Manager for ND Care & Support’s Ebbw Vale branch, said:
“I’m genuinely over the moon for Trina and Sherrie. The commitment they show to the people we care for is truly second to none. They really deserve their place as finalists for the Palliative Care/End of Life Award.
“As a team, Trina and Sherrie take the time to understand our Service Users’ needs on a very personal level and often under the most emotionally challenging circumstances. This is how they’re able to deliver the highest quality of care we pride ourselves on delivering.”
The awards ceremony will be held via virtual broadcast on Thursday 16 December 2021.
ND Care & Support have also been shortlisted in the West Wales Health & Care Awards, a sister-event to the South Wales Argus Health & Care Awards. Read the full story here.
The awards have been set up to celebrate the outstanding work, care, innovation and services provided in Wales, and those people who make a difference on a daily basis.
