• Part-time hours, £13.45 per hour weekdays and £14.01 per hour on weekends
• Paid mileage
• Waiting & travel time paid
• 2 weekends off per month!
• We will cover the cost of your Enhanced DBS check, Social Care Wales registration fee and a Blue Light Card—saving you over £70! (We will reimburse you for the Blue Light Card and SCW registration fee on proof of purchase and once you have worked for us for more than four weeks).
• Support to achieve QCF levels 2 and 3 in Health & Social Care
• Refer a friend bonus of up to £150

Job Overview:

Caring and supporting clients within their own homes, you will be responsible for providing personal care, assisting with medication, food preparation and light domestic tasks, such as laundry and cleaning. Some duties will require an element of manual handling.

Companionship and emotional support play a vital role in your day-to-day visits, so you will need to be kind, patient, compassionate and dependable.

Using your own vehicle to drive from client to client, as well as accompanying some of them out into the Community for their wellbeing, you must have a valid Full UK/International Driving License and your own car. Business car insurance will also be required.

Training:

You may already be an established Carer, or new to caring, either way we offer full training and support. You will have a 5-day in depth Induction and training programme (paid at national minimum wage once you have worked for us for a minimum of 50 hours). You will also buddy up with an experienced partner when you first start attending calls, so you won't be on your own. We will also support you to gain your Social Care Wales Registration within 6 months, so you are fully compliant.
