Now Hiring: Female Care Workers in the Bridgend Area!
About the Role: In this rewarding role, you'll provide personalized support to clients within their own homes, helping them live well and thrive. Your responsibilities will include:
Personal Care: Assisting with daily tasks like bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Medication Assistance: Supporting clients with medication as needed.
Food Preparation: Preparing meals to ensure clients maintain a healthy diet.
Light Domestic Tasks: Helping with laundry, cleaning, and other household chores to keep their home comfortable.
Companionship & Emotional Support: Providing a friendly ear, offering comfort, and sharing moments of joy. Some duties may require manual handling, so a calm, patient, and caring approach is key.
You’ll travel to different clients in your own car, and may also accompany them on outings for social or wellbeing activities. A Full UK/International Driving License, your own car, and business car insurance are required.
Training & Support: Whether you’re an experienced carer or new to the field, we’ve got you covered! We offer:
Full Training & Ongoing Support: A 5-day induction programme (paid at national minimum wage after you’ve worked 50 hours).
Buddying Up: You’ll be paired with an experienced team member when you first start, making sure you feel supported and confident in your new role.
Social Care Wales Registration: We’ll help you gain your registration within 6 months, ensuring you’re fully compliant.
